The Ad-din Nursing Institute was established on 8 August 1997 in Jessore, adjacent to the Ad-din Hospital, to encourage, accept and implement the service profession. Later, two more separate nursing institutes were started in Kushtia and Dhaka. The official inauguration of the four-strayed building named Safina Nursing Institute on the campus of Kushtia Ad-din Hospital took place on 31 December 2004 and the educational activities of the institute started in September 2005. Besides, the educational activities of Fatema Nursing Institute affiliated with Ad-din Hospital in Dhaka started in 2006.
